RITCHEY Of 4017 Ridge avenue, died at 6.45 o'clock this morning in Chester. He was born at Blue Knok [sic] on Dec. 2, 1900, a son of George and Francine (Burket) Ritchey, and married Miss Nellie Claar of Newry in 1920. Mr. Ritchey was an agent of the Baltimore Life Insurance company and was discharged from the navy six months ago as a shipfitter second class. Surviving are his wife, two children, Mrs. George Benton and Miss Delores, both at home; his father, of Queens, and the following brothers and sisters: Ralph Ickes of Beaverdale, Vernon Ritchey of the city, Mrs. Elsie Dively of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Edith Corle of Claysburg, Charles and Glen of St. Clairsville, Mrs. Lillian Roudabush of Imler, Mrs. Ruth Ray of Roaring Spring, Kenneth, Mrs. Helen Musselman, Mrs. Lorraine Black and Mrs. Madaline Diviney, all of Queen, Mrs. Margaret Reighard of Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Beatrice Houston of East Freedom. Mr. Ritchey was a member of the Newry Lutheran church and of the American Legion post, Lakemont. Friends may call at the home after 7 o'clock Sunday evening. RITCHEY - Funeral services for Francis E. Ritchey of 4017 Ridge avenue, will be held at the Lutheran church at Newry, Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Lester J. Karshner and Rev. Ralph W. Birk. A short prayer service will be held at the home at 1.30 o'clock. The South Lakemont Legion post will conduct military rites at the grave. Interment in the Lutheran cemetery at Newry.
