JENNIE RITCHEY Widow of Aden Ritchey and a lifelong resident of Juniata township, died Friday morning at 2.40 o'clock at her home along Knob Run road, one mile west of Puzzletown, after an illness of two months. Death was attributed to multiple ailments. She was born in Juniata township, this county, on Feb. 23, 1866, and was a daughter of Michael and Susan (McConnell) McIntosh. Her husband predeceased her on Sept. 9, 1924. She leaves the following children: Malcolm Ritchey, Charles Ritchey, Mrs. Howard Himes and James Ritchey, all of Duncansville, R.D. No. 2, Mrs. P. J. McCann and Gerald Ritchey, both of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Kenneth Knox of Rochester, N.Y. Other survivors are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Margaret Clark of Newry, Mrs. Alice Berkheimer of Duncansville, Thomas McIntosh of Pittsford, N.Y., and Archie McIntosh and Annie McIntosh of Duncansville, R.D. No. 2, also 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic church at Newry and of the Altar and Rosary society of that church. Friends are being received at the home. RITCHEY - Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Ritchey of Juniata township will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, with requiem mass, in St. Patrick's church, Newry. Interment in the church cemetery.
