Mrs. Rebecca Ritchey, an aged and respected resident of Blue Knob, died last evening at 6:25 o'clock at Derry, while on a visit to a brother-in-law. Pneumonia was the cause of death. Deceased was aged 76 years in December and had resided all her life at Blue Knob. She was twice married, her first husband being John Imler, and several years after his death she married George F. Ritchey, who preceded her to the grave five years ago. It will be fifty years on Saturday since her first marriage. She was a lifelong member of the United Brethren church and is survived by two grandchildren, children of her only son, who was killed some years ago. One sister, Mrs. Jennie Stevens, of Perry county, survives. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services to be conducted in the United Brethren church, followed by interment in Butlerville cemetery.
