RITCHEY Of Blue Knob, died at 2 a.m. yesterday, Dec. 6, 1972, at his home. He was born April 15, 1891, at Blue Knob, a son of John and Sarah (Long) Ritchey, and was twice married, to Julia Burns, who died in 1918, and then to Viola Trowbridge, who died in 1959. Surviving are four children, Mrs. Esther Harpster of Altoona, C. Monroe of Falls Church, Va., Sheldon of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Norma Vucan of Sunnyvale, Calif.; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and five brothers and sisters, William B. of Altoona, Mrs. Esther Bachtell of Portage and Frank, Ida and Elvin of Blue Knob. Mr. Ritchey was a retired painter. Friends will be received in the Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 7 to 9 p.m. today and after 10 a.m. tomorrow.
