MRS. CATHERINE RITTER

  Mrs. Catherine Ritter, wife of J. R. Ritter, died at the family home, 117 
North Pine street, Lakemont, yesterday evening at 5:50 o'clock of 
complications of diseases.  She was admitted to the institution on January 
22.  She was a daughter of Ludy and Nancy J. Cruse and was aged 44 years.  
She was married on December 24, 1893, and is survived by her husband and one 
son, J. E., with the 35th engineers' corps in France, and one daughter, Ruth 
E., at home.  Two sisters and one brother also survive, Mrs. Mollie Brown, of 
Lakemont, Mrs. George Reilly and Francis Cruse, of Hollidaysburg.  She was a 
member of the Church of God of Lakemont, and was active in church affairs.  
She was held in high esteem by all who knew her.  The funeral will take place 
at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with services at the residence, in charge of 
Rev. L. C. Nonemaker.  Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
