HARRY S. RITTS

Aged 87, retired, living at Altoona R.D. 3, died at the Mercy hospital 
yesterday afternoon at 2.10 o'clock. He was born April 23, 1862, in 
Morrison's cove, the son of J. L. and Mary (Shoenfelt) Ritts. He was 
preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ritts, in February, 1947. 
Surviving are nine sons, Edward, Graham and Howard, all of Wilkinsburg, 
Earl of Mt. Lebanon, George of East Lansing, Mich., Charles of 
Cleveland, O., Homer of California, Herman of Denver and Melvin at 
home; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Burket of Wilkinsburg; one brother, 
Albert of Altoona, and 38 grandchildren. Friends will be received at 
the Saleme funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
