DANIEL ROBERTS,

Who resided with a daughter, Mrs. Ray Fasick of 724 W. 15th St., 
Tyrone, died at 5.15 p.m. yesterday in the Tyrone Hospital after an 
extended illness.  He was born on March 10, 1889, in Brisbin, a son of 
John and Catherine (Jones) Roberts, and on Dec. 24, 1913, at Smoke Run 
married Kathryn Lewis, who died June 16, 1958.  He had resided in 
Tyrone for the past 33 years was a member of the First Methodist and 
Men's Bible Class and a retired employe of the Shaffer meat plant.  
Surviving are seven children, Raymond and Mrs. Fasick of Tyrone, Mrs. 
John Allison of Massapequa, Long Island, N.Y., Mrs. Robert Bryan of 
District Heights, Md., William of Fairview, Lee of Erie and Mrs. 
Francis Evans of Silver Springs, Md.; 15 grandchildren, and one 
brother, John of Ginter.  Friends will be received at the Graham & Getz 
Funeral Home, Tyrone, after 7 p.m. today.
