MARY JANE ROBERTSON 

  Mary Jane Robertson, age 80, of Lower Paxton Township, Harrisburg 
died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Hershey Medical Center.
  She was born July 16, 1925 in Altoona, the daughter of George W. and 
Elizabeth Treese Shope.
  She is survived by her husband of almost 56 years, Harry W. 
Robertson, two sons and three daughters: James W. Robertson of 
Harrisburg, Timothy P. Robertson of Etters, Cindy L. Kerstetter of 
Etters, Linda S. Solis of Palmyra and Judith Ann Solis of Hummelstown; 
12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Shope of 
Huntingdon, two sisters, Margaret Alley of Mill Hall and Betty DeMario 
of Youngstown, OH and many nieces and nephews.
  Mrs. Robertson was a homemaker and a loving mother. She was an 
excellent baker. She was a former Girl Scout leader and had volunteered 
at the state hospital.
  She belonged to a card club and loved to walk and enjoyed knitting.
  A memorial service was held Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at 
Calvary United Methodist Church, 4700 Locust Lane, Harrisburg, PA. 
Contributions in her memory were requested to the Calvary UM Church 
Building Fund.
