On the 30th of June Mr. Jacob F. Robeson died at his home in St. Louis. The funeral took place on July 2. The cause of death was cancer and he had been ailing for some time. The deceased was born in what was Huntingdon, but now Blair county, on September 20, 1829. He saw service in the civil war and soon after its ending went west and became a resident of St. Louis. He will be remembered by many of the older residents of the county. He is survived by his wife and three children. Also by these brothers and sisters: John W., of Altoona; Milton, of Williamsburg; Adie, of St. Louis; Martin, of Arkansas; Mrs. E. F.
