ROBISON DIES OF PNEUMONIA Was a Member of the 151st Field Artillery, of the Rainbow Division Seldom has sadder intelligence been received in Tyrone than that which was received in a telegram from the adjutant general at Washington, D.C., telling of the death of Private John Glenn Robison, of the field artillery, who died in France on February 9, as a result of pneumonia. John Glenn Robison was the son of Basil and Mary Robison, and was born at Irvona, Pa., December 1, 1895. He was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian church of Tyrone, and especially was he active in the Christian Endeavor affairs of that church. His was a life that counted. Always of a quiet nature, he went about the affairs of life in his good and honest way. One had but to come into contact with this sterling young man to sense that he was indeed a true man all the way through. He will be missed in Tyrone, where the greatest part of his life had been spent, and where he had come to be known and held in highest esteem by all. When the call came to arms he responded and later became a member of Battery A, 151st field artillery, of the famous Rainbow division. He participated in all of the stiff engagements fought by this great division during the war. Tyrone sympathizes with Mr. and Mrs. Robison in their sad, dark hour, and we take this manner of expressing to these bereaved parents our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of their true and noble son.
