All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ MILTON BRUMBAUGH RODGERS Well known resident of Juniata and a machinist in the Pennsylvania railroad shops, died this morning at 10.20 o'clock in the Mercy hospital following an illness of two weeks. He was the son of John and Catherine Brumbaugh Rodgers and was born at James Creek, Huntingdon county on Jan. 25, 1870. He had resided in Juniata for the past twenty years and was a member of Logan lodge, I.O.O.F., and encampment No. 1059 and the Floral association of the Juniata shops. He was a public- spirited citizen and was an ardent fisherman and hunter. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Rodgers, and one daughter, Mrs. John H. Wolf, and three grandchildren, all of Juniata, and these brothers and sisters: Jacob B. Rodgers of Altoona, Mrs. Elmer Free, Mrs. John Hicks and John B. Rodgers, all of Huntingdon, and Lorenza B. Rodgers of Newton Hamilton. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home at 314 Sixth avenue, Juniata, in charge of Rev. Stanley V. Bergen, pastor of the Juniata Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in the Riverview cemetery at Huntingdon.
