Yesterday morning, at the residence of her son-in-law, Adam Cobler, 406 Nineteenth street, Mrs. Anna Barbara Rodkey died of general prostration. The deceased was born in Bavaria, Germany, October 3, 1817, and was aged 73 years, 6 months and 17 days at the time of her death. At the age of 14 years she came to America and in the year 1837 was married to Joseph P. Carver. By this union she became the mother of ten children - six of whom survive her. These are Mrs. Caroline Shimer and Mrs. Mary Little, of Bedford; Mrs. Sarah Rodkey, Miss Tillie Carver, Mrs. Louisa Cobler and Mrs. Mary Moore, of this city. She also leaves twenty-eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her first husband dying, she married Elias Rodkey, who also preceded her to the better world. The funeral services will take place in the First Lutheran church, of which for twenty years she was a consistent member, at 2 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. E.
