Rogers died yesterday afternoon at his home, 410 Thirteenth street of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. He was born at Oil City, Pa., January 19, 1889, and he is survived by his wife and one daughter, also by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Rogers; one sister, Mrs. W. R. Lockard and two brothers, Earl E. of this city and Hugh L. Rogers. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Juniata and was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Private funeral services will be conducted at the home on Sunday afternoon. The remains may be viewed this afternoon from 2:30 o'clock to 9 o'clock this evening [and] from 10 o'clock to noon on Sunday. Altoona Times, Saturday Morning, October 12, 1918
