ROGERS

  John Lowe Rogers, the little 5-year-old boy who was shot through the 
abdomen while "playing Indian" with his brother at their home, 433 
Crawford avenue, Sunday morning, died at the Altoona hospital at 8.50 
o'clock yesterday morning.  John Lowe Rogers was born on March 4, 1913, 
in Altoona, the son of William J. Rogers and Lydia J. (Lowe) Rogers, 
deceased, the mother dying four years ago.  Surviving are the father 
and five brothers and one sister, as follows: William, Francis and 
Joseph, all in the United States service, Paul and Thomas and Helen, 
all at home.

FUNERAL NOTICES.

  The funeral of John Lowe Rogers will take place this morning at 9 
o'clock with mass at St. Mark's Catholic church, interment in Calvary 
cemetery.
