Mr. Rogers retired June 30, 1965, from the PRR as a car repairman, Second Street shop, with 42 years service. He was born April 17, 1900, in Altoona, a son of William J. and Lydia Jane (Lowe) Rogers, and married Mildred Ketrow on Nov. 13, 1943, in Altoona. Surviving are a son, Robert D. of Altoona; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Judith Schroeder of Altoona, and Mrs. Ann Renaud of Harrisburg; seven step grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Helen McDonald of Altoona. Mr. Rogers was an Army veteran of World Wars I and II. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 4 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
