Romani Anthony Richard Romani, 39, of Box 195, Hollidaysburg, R.D. 3, president of two of the largest comb manufacturing companies in the United States, died at 7:35 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 24, 1977, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after a brief illness. Mr. Romani founded Antonio's Manufacturing, Inc., in 1971, in Cresson. In June 1975, he purchased the Ajax Comb Co., Morrisville, and moved the operation to Cresson. In addition, Mr. Romani was president and founder of McDonald Plating of South Fork, Client, Inc. of Cresson, a plastics division; Antmart, Inc., of Portage, a dress factory, and Lillicrest, Inc. of Cresson, a cosmetics factory. Mr. Romani was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, the Blairmont Club and Summit Country Club, Cresson. He was a 1956 graduate of Gallitzin High School. He was born May 30, 1935, in Gallitzin, son of Giovanni and Delena (Bongiorno) Romani, and married Gina Aveni on July 26, 1958, in Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, a son, Anthony Richard II, at home, his mother, of Gallitzin, and four brothers and a sister, Francis & Lawrence of Gallitzin, Angelo of Newry, John Jr. of Ebensburg and Mrs. Philomena Russum of Gallitzin.
