Born July 13, 1927, in Gallitzin, son of John and Delena (Bongiorno) Romani. Preceded in death by his father, who died May 21, 1977 and brother, Anthony, who died Oct. 24, 1977. Survived by mother and wife, Eileen, both of Gallitzin, and these children: Michael, Francis and Bob, all of Johnstown, and Joyce, Gallitzin; also three grandchildren. Brother of Angelo, Altoona; John, Ebensburg; Philomena, wife of James Russun, Chicago, Ill.; and Larry, Gallitzin. Graduate of St. Francis College, Loretto, and University of Pittsburgh and University of Colorado. U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gallitzin, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev Anthony Pollack. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum, Altoona. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until time of service at Skupien Funeral Home, Gallitzin, where wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday.
