DEATHS OF A DAY

MRS. BARBARA RONEY.

Mrs. Barbara Roney, widow of James Roney, died at 1:15 o'clock
yesterday morning at her residence, 1717 Sixth avenue, of senile
debility.  She was born in Germany, May 5, 1839, and has lived in this
country since 4 years of age, when, with her parents, Mitchel and
Catherine Albert, she located in Hollidaysburg.  She was a member of
the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church and is survived by the
following children:  Katie, Belle, Mrs. Jennie Lowe, Mrs. Frank
Cassidy, John, Frank and Charles, all of this city.  The funeral
cortege will leave the house at 9:30 Saturday morning and mass will be
celebrated at the Sacred Heart church at 10 o'clock.  Interment will
be made in St. John's cemetery.
