DIED.

RONEY - Martha A., daughter of Frances and Mary (deceased) Roney,
departed this life April 8, 1872, aged 14 years, 2 months and 24 days.

Having died of consumption, sister Martha suffered much and very
severely, but all with Christian patience and resignation.  She leaves
a sorrowing father, step-mother, sister and two brothers to follow her
to the "Home of the Blessed."  When she was dying she called her
friends to her and urged them to meet her in Heaven.  O, it was a
heavenly sight to see this young Christian depart, realizing that

"Jesus makes a dying bed
Feel soft as downey pillows are;
Here, on His breast I lean my head,
And breathe my life out sweetly there."
