MRS. SUSAN F. ROONEY

Of 525 E. Grant Avenue died Wednesday at 6:10 p.m. at the home of her 
niece and nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Peterman, following a lengthy 
illness.  She was born August 12, 1882 in Altoona, the daughter of 
Cyrus and Hanna Bohn Palmer and was the widow of Thomas H. Rooney, who 
died January 27, 1953.  Surviving are only nieces and nephews. Mrs. 
Rooney was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and the Daughters of 
America Council 116.  Friends will be received at Mauk and Yates 
Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday.
