ANNETTA SELL ROSS Dietitian at the Nason hospital, Roaring Spring, died at 6.30 o'clock this morning at the hospital, suffering from pneumonia. She was taken ill on Saturday. Mrs. Ross was born in Altoona on Jan. 4, 1904, a daughter of the late D. M. Sell, widely known Tenth ward grocer and former member of the Altoona school board, and Mrs. Nancy A. (Dilling) Sell. The mother died before the daughter's 1st birthday and Mrs. Ross was raised in the home of an aunt, Mrs. Nettie Glass of 324 Fifth avenue, making her home there up until the time of her death. Mrs. Ross was graduated from the Altoona High school in the class of 1922, from Juniata college in 1927 and from the West Penn hospital, Pittsburgh, as a dietitian in the class of 1929. Since her graduation she served as dietitian at the Roaring Spring hospital. Surviving are her aunt, Mrs. Glass, her step-mother, Mrs. D. M. Sell, one son, William Ross, aged 8, at home, and three sisters, Mrs. Lorna Geisinger of Altoona, Mrs. Agnes Miller of Leamersville and Miss Mary Sell, a teacher in the Jefferson school, Altoona, and by three half-sisters, Mrs. Hugh McCready and Mrs. Vernon Boland, both of Altoona, and Mrs. Olive Undercoffler of White Plains, N.Y. Mrs. Ross was a sister of the late Dr. Byron Sell. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren. The funeral will be held from the Glass home on Saturday with services at 2.30 o'clock at the First Church of the Brethren, Rev. Dr. Walter Scott Lanz, officiating.
