T. Ross, died at 4:10 o'clock last evening in the family home at 806 Sixth avenue, Juniata, of tuberculosis. The deceased young woman was in declining health for two years. She was born in this city on September 19, 1894, and grew to womanhood in the borough, where she was held in warm esteem. Surviving with the parents are five brothers and four sisters of the deceased - J. Ward, J. E. Ross, Mrs. O. B. Smith and Mrs. W. A. Morrison, of Juniata; W. C., Arthur, Marion and Francis at home and Private C. H. Ross, in France. Bertha Ross was admired for her gentle, womanly disposition. She was a sincere Christian and worshipped in the Church of the Brethren, of Altoona. Service over her remains will be held in her late home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Thursday, February 27, 1919, page 8
