S. Fleming, of Bellwood, Miss Lina Ross died of a complication of diseases at 2.05 Wednesday afternoon. Miss Ross had been in failing health for some years and a few weeks ago was taken from her home, 133 West Fourteenth street, Tyrone, to Bellwood in the hope that the change might prove beneficial to her health. For a little while she seemed to improve, but could not recover. Miss Ross was a daughter of Kephart and Amelia Ross, and was born at Tyrone, May 10, 1854. She was a graduate of the Methodist Episcopal hospital nurses training school at Philadelphia and for many years practiced her profession in Washington, D.C. She was a faithful member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Washington. Miss Ross was the last of a family of ten and her closest surviving relatives are two nieces and a nephew - Mrs. J. F. Schmidt, of Tyrone; Celia and J. Easton Ross, of Clearfield. The body was prepared for burial by Funeral Director G. E. Fuoss, of Bellwood, and will be taken to her late home this afternoon at 1 o'clock. Funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. G. M. Glenn.
