MRS. RHODA ROSS

Died at the home of her son, William Ross, at Canoe Creek on Friday evening 
at 6.30 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments 
incident to advanced age.  She was born in Clearfield county on April 22, 
1856, a daughter of Nathaniel and Katie Warren.  Surviving are three sons and 
three daughters, Joseph Ross and Mrs. Lewis Kite of Williamsburg, R.D., 
William Ross, at whose home she died, Charles Ross of Hollidaysburg, R.D., 
Mrs. Ellie Ardrie of Clearfield and Mrs. Olie Lightner of Ligonier, and 
twenty grandchildren.  She was a member of the Methodist church. The body was 
taken to the Homer Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg where it may be 
viewed until Saturday at noon when it will be taken to the son's home at 
Canoe Creek, where funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon at 
2.30 o'clock.  Interment will be made in the Yellow Springs Lutheran 
cemetery.
