Things Briefly Told.

  Mrs. Ruth Ross, a young woman about 19 years of age, the mother of 
two little children and the wife of James Ross, a brakeman in the 
employ of the railroad, died at the residence of her father on sixth 
avenue, between Seventh and Eighth streets, about 11 o'clock on 
Saturday morning.

  The funeral of Mrs. Ruth Ross took place yesterday afternoon, and was 
largely attended.  In a former notice of her death there were some 
errors.  Her age was 21 years, 11 months and 4 days instead of 19 
years, and she leaves only one child in place of two.
