Death of Mrs. Catharine Rossi.

  A telegram was received in this city yesterday by Captain John 
McNevin, announcing the death in Leavenworth, Kansas, of Mrs. Catharine 
Rossi, formerly a resident of this city.  The deceased had many friends 
in Altoona.  She was the sister of Mrs. Margaret Hausser and Mrs. Fred 
Leibig, of Altoona, and Mrs. Dagenhart, of Hollidaysburg.  Deceased was 
aged about 55 years and leaves five daughters and two sons.  The death 
was a sudden one, being caused by inflammation of the bowels.
