ROSSMAN Of 303 Willow avenue, died yesterday afternoon at 4.45 o'clock after an extended illness. His wife, Mrs. Roda F. (Fear) Rossman, died five years ago. He was born Feb. 25, 1877, in Centre county, the son of Calvin and Matilda (Stumpff) Rossman. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Moses of Altoona; two sons, H. Merle of Lewistown and William R. of Altoona; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Daniel C. of Mifflinburg. Mr. Rossman was past commander of the Knights of Malta and a lifelong member of the I.O.O.F. of Milroy. He was a retired carbuilder in the Altoona works. Mr. Rossman was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
