Sixth St., Bellwood, died yesterday at 5 p.m. at his home. Death was unexpected. He was born Sept. 7, 1899 at Arch Springs, the son of William and Viola Williams Roub. On Sept. 20, 1920 at Roaring Spring he married Hannah Leidy. Surviving are the widow, daughters, Nancy, at home; Mrs. Pearl Leonard, Saxton; Mrs. Martha Pierce, Bellwood; Mrs. Ruth Smith, Grazierville; Mrs. Ethel Saylor, Williamsburg; Mrs. Delores Stoner, Harrisburg; Mrs. Genevieve Gathagan, Utahville; Mrs. Joyce Lovell, Utahville; 19 grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence, Tyrone RD 2; Frank, Silver Spring, Md. He was a member of the Bellwood Church of the Brethren. He had retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1949 as an electric welder. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Mortuary, Bellwood, in charge of the Rev. Richard Grumbling, and the Rev. Clyde Bush. Burial will be in Logan Valley Cemetery.
