CLYDE ROYER 90, of Box 507, Hollidaysburg RD 2, Canoe Creek, died unexpectedly at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, April 24, 1980, in the home of her niece, Mrs. Marjorie Shinafelt of Hollidaysburg RD. Mrs. Royer retired as an elementary teacher in the Frankstown Township area in 1967, following 30 years' service. She was born Jan. 17, 1890, in Hollidaysburg RD. the daughter of David S. and Agnes (Gent) Hyle, and April 25, 1917, in Lakemont, married William M. Royer, who died Dec. 18, 1973. Surviving are a son, Richard L. of New Enterprise RD 1, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Royer was a member of the Canoe Creek United Methodist Church, the Missionary Society and the Scotch Valley Grange. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Bolger-Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg. ROYER - Services for Mrs. Emma Clyde Royer of Box 507. Hollidaysburg RD 2, Canoe Creek, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bolger-Friedline Inc. Funeral Home, Williamsburg, by the Rev. Lynn D. Trutt. Interment in New Canoe Creek Cemetery.
