Rudolph, After a long and severe illness died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Eliza M. Engle, 1708 Sixteenth street, at 11 o'clock Sunday forenoon, of dropsy. For the past three and one-half years the deceased had been in failing health, being confined to his room most of the time. He was born in Westmoreland county, May 3, 1827. Four sons and two daughters, all grown, survive him. These are: Cordelia, wife of John Miller, of Akron, O.; Mary, wife of James Brewer, of Westmoreland county; Ada, wife of James Maddle, of New Derry; Annie, wife of Mr. Jones, of New Derry; John, of Latrobe, and Frank Rudolph, of Saltsburg. Three brothers and three sisters also survive, as follows: Samuel, Decatur, Ill.; Absolom, of Apollo, Armstrong county; David, of Western Virginia; Mrs. Sarah Haney, West Newton; Mrs. Jane Martz, New Stanton, Westmoreland county, and Mrs. Eliza M. Engle, of this city, with whom he made his home. Mr. Rudolph was a member of Christ Reformed church. The funeral services will be conducted at Mrs. Engle's home, by Rev. J. F. Moyer, at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
