It is not positively know how its clothes took fire, as there was no one present at the time, Mrs. Runyan having stepped into a neighbor's house for a few minutes, but it is presumed that the child lighted a piece of paper at the stove and thus communicated the fire to its clothes, which were almost entirely burned off. Its body was shockingly burned. Dr. Findley was called in immediately, but the little sufferer was beyond all human aid. Another sad warning not to leave small children alone where there is fire, - Alt. Tribune. Democratic Standard, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, February 12, 1862
