Rush, 804 Green avenue, died suddenly at midnight of heart failure. Mrs. Rush was in perfect health before retiring and about 11.35 took suddenly ill and expired at 12 o'clock. The deceased was born in McVeytown, Oct. 20, 1843. She is survived by her husband and one son, J. E., at home. She was a member of Circle 16, Grand Army of the Republic, Daughters of Malta and Ladies of the Golden Eagle; also a member of the Eighth Avenue Methodist church, and held the office of treasurer of the Ladies auxiliary of the Pennsylvania Railroad Young Men's Christian association for over fifteen years. For many years she had been an active worker in various public charitable movements and was loved by many for her private charities. Her death will be a great loss to her many friends.
