Franklin and Carrie Hartman Russell, died on Saturday morning at 6 o'clock at their home near Peck Station. This little babe was born March 27, 1918, being at his death aged 6 months and 1 day. He is survived by one brother, Walter H. Little John was a loving child and had a smile for all and was fondly endeared to the entire family. He was sick but a few days and was just recovering from a severe case of whooping cough when pneumonia developed and death relieved the child of its suffering. The funeral was held from the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Russell, on Monday morning at 10 o'clock, services by Rev. E. S. Noll of Curryville.
