Ryan, 78, of 1406 Bald Eagle Ave., Tyrone, PA went to be with the Lord Saturday evening, February 10, 2007 at his residence. He was born August 28, 1928 at Audabon, NJ, a son of the late Malcolm and Margaret (Noble) Ryan. He was raised in Philadelphia, and lived in Goldenridge, Levittown, PA for 31 years and moved to Tyrone in 1984. He was married March 15, 1952 in Philadelphia to Sunja B. "Candy" Walter. He is survived by his wife of 54 years and two sons; Roger A. (Yvonne) Ryan of Tullytown, PA and Ronald A. Ryan of Tyrone, four grandchildren, Denise (Joseph) Skliner, Philip A. Ryan, II, Michael Ryan all of Levittown, PA and Brandon Ryan of Tyrone. He was preceded in death by four brothers. He was very active in church work in Levittown and at the Warriors Mark Bible Baptist Church. He had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was involved with the atom bomb tests. He was employed for 34 years as a fitter-welder for the I.T.E. Circuit Breakers of Chalfont, PA under government contracts for parts for the U.S. Navy. There will be no viewing. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Rev. Steven E. Burns officiating. Friends will be received at the Derman Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to the service at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
