(Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: August 03, 1871 Mr. Patrick Shea, a respectable and hard working citizen of Altoona, whom we know well, while walking on the railroad track on his way from that city to Kittanning Point, on Saturday morning week, was struck by a freight train, knocked down an embankment, and instantly killed. In the effort to avoid one train he got in the way of the other, with the sad result stated. His son, who was with him, narrowly escaped a like fate. The deceased leaves a wife and six children. He was a shoemaker by trade. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/obits/s/shea20385gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/pafiles/ File size: 1.1 Kb
