GUISEPPE SALIMENE [sic]

Of 813 Eighth avenue, died at his home at 10 o'clock last night after 
having been ill for the past two years.  He was born in Buccino, Italy, 
Dec. 4, 1877, a son of Domenica and Vincenza Salimbene, but had resided 
in Altoona for the past 45 years.  He was a retired employe of the 
Pennsylvania railroad, having been employed on the track.  Surviving 
are his wife, Mrs. Nunziata (Rossi) Salimbene; three sons, D. A. and 
Victor Salimbene of the city and James of Baltimore, Md.; his mother 
and two sisters, Rose and Carmela, in Italy.  Mr. Salimbene was a 
member of Mount Carmel Catholic church, the Sons of Italy, and the 
Buccinese society.  Friends will be received at the Santella funeral 
home after 7 o'clock this evening.

SALIMBENE - Funeral services for Guiseppe Salimbene of 813 Eighth 
avenue, will be held with solemn high requiem mass Tuesday morning at 9 
o'clock at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic church.  Interment in 
Calvary cemetery.  Friends are being received at the Santella funeral 
home.
