  At 7.20 o'clock on Monday morning John A. Saupp died at the home of 
his parents, W. W. and Anna Saupp, in Altoona, of tuberculosis.  He had 
been ailing for several months.  Deceased was born in Chest Springs, 
this county, and was aged 28 years and 16 days.  He had resided a 
number of years in Altoona and was a member of the St. John's Catholic 
church.  Besides his parents he is survived by seven sisters, Mrs. R. 
F. Notely, of Hastings, this county, being one, the others all residing 
in Altoona.  The funeral took place this Friday morning.
