Savage died at the Altoona hospital yesterday morning at 3 o'clock of pneumonia. He was born on June 6, 1892, in Altoona, the son of David T. and Margaret (Jackson) Savage of 829 Twenty-fifth avenue. He was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad in the frame shop as a machinist. He was married six years ago in Altoona to Miss Margaret White, the family residing at 518 Twenty-fifth avenue. Surviving are the parents, the widow and two children, Grace, aged 5, and Sheldon, aged 2 years, and the following brothers and sisters: Howard of Altoona, Raymond, with the American expeditionary force in France, Gilbert of Wilkinsburg, George, Clifford and Nettie, all at home. He was a member of the Fairview Methodist church, Verandah lodge of Odd Fellows and the Blair lodge, Knights of Pythias. At the time of his death he was secretary in the Sunday school of the Fairview Methodist church. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
