MRS. BERTHA E. SAYLOR 

Widow of Dr. Horace S. Saylor, a well-known doctor in the Pennsylvania railroad 
relief department in the city for a number of years, died at 6.10 o'clock this 
morning in the Methodist Home for the Aged, Tyrone, where she was a guest. Dr. 
Saylor died April 5, 1936. Mrs. Saylor was born at Orbisonia April 14, 1886, a 
daughter of Christopher and Nancy (Chilcote) Shingler. Surviving is one son, 
Horace of Ocean Grove, Mass. Mrs. Saylor was a member of the First Methodist 
church, Altoona, of the Loyalty Bible class, the W.S.C.S. and the Altoona 
chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Friends will be received at the Myers funeral 
home after 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
