Saylor died at his home in Canoe Valley Saturday morning of apoplexy. He was about 62 years old and was born in Trough Creek valley, Huntingdon county, coming to Blair county about 30 years ago. The deceased's wife preceded him to the grave three months ago. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Wesley Himes, of Canoe Valley, and the following brothers and sisters: Samuel, of Canoe valley; Miles and Thomas Saylor, of Trough Creek; Mrs. Jane Pheasant, of Williamsburg; Mrs. A. J. Norris, of Coalport. The funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. conducted by his pastor, Rev. J. M. Rearick, of the Lutheran church at Flowing Spring, of which Mr. Saylor was a member.
