GEORGE SCHANDELMIER 

Died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Sherman Mulhollen of Westwood park, 
Juniata gap, at 4.20 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. He 
was born in Altoona, Nov. 1, 1872, a son of Joseph and Barbara (Koelle) 
Schandelmier. His wife, Mrs. Mae (Kellerman) Schandelmier, died in 1948. 
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mulhollen; one son, George H. of Rodeo, Calif.; 
one sister, Mrs. Louise Stadler of Altoona, and six grandchildren. He was a 
member of the First Methodist church, Juniata, and was a retired meat-cutter for 
the Shaffer Stores company. Friends will be received at the Axe funeral home 
after 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.
