Miss Adelaide Schlegel, daughter of John and Anna McGuire Schlegel, deceased, died at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at the Mercy hospital after an illness of ten days suffering from influenza. She was admitted to the hospital yesterday afternoon from her home, 1427 Sixteenth avenue. She was born in Altoona June 12, 1898, and was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic church and a graduate of St. Mary's school and was a clerk in the Pennsy offices. Surviving are two brothers, Clarence O. Schlegel of Twelfth street and John M. Schlegle [sic], now at Camp Kearney, Cal. The body was removed to the home of an uncle John McGuire of 1427 Sixteenth avenue. The funeral will be held Thursday with interment in St. Mary's cemetery. FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of Miss Adelaide Schlegel, who died at the Mercy hospital yesterday, will be held later in the week arrangements being delayed pending receipt of word from a brother, John M. Schlegel, who is in training at Camp Kearney, Calif. A brother Clarence O. Schlegel, resides at 709 Thirteenth street.
