Mrs. Doris Block Schmidt, wife of Max Schmidt, of McDonald, Pa., died yesterday afternoon at 12.05 o'clock at the family home, death being caused by pneumonia, following an attack of Spanish influenza. She was sick but one week. She was the daughter of Mrs. Sadie Block of 1312 Eighteenth street, this city, who survives with the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Jacob Brett, Myer Block and Miss Frances Block, all of this city; Morris C. Block of Philadelphia and Samuel Block, with the A.E.F. in France. The body will be brought to this city this afternoon on the 12.43 train and taken to the home of the mother at 1312 Eighth street, from where the funeral will be held at 3 o'clock.
