M. NAOMIA SCHMITT

Of 500 E. 26th Ave., died at 9:30 p.m. yesterday, Aug. 27, 1976, at 
Mercy Hospital, after suffering a heart attack. She was born Oct. 1, 
1901, in Claysburg, a daughter of Edward and Laura (Burns) Burket, and 
was twice married, first to Elmer Ebersole, who died in 1933, and then 
to Charles F. Schmitt. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. 
Laura Jean Tremmel of Altoona; grandchild, four great-grandchildren and 
five brothers and sisters, Clyde, Marburg and Mrs. Carrie Mallory of 
Altoona, Mrs. Rheda Lingenfelter of Claysburg and Mrs. Lillian Pengilly 
of Los Angeles, Calif. Friends will be received in the Gilden Barton 
Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
Monday.
