Schulman, 81, formerly of 4th St., Tyrone died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 10:30 p.m. at Altoona Hospital. She was born February 26, 1922 in Clearfield, a daughter of George and Flora (Nofsker) Mignot. She married Samuel Schulman on March 25, 1946 in Washington, D.C. He died December 14, 1981. Surviving are four daughters, Judy Harnai of Atlanta, Georgia, Sharon Heffley of Great Falls, Virginia, Janice Dauber of Tyrone, Roberta Bonnett of Dayton, Ohio, a son Timothy of Rochester, New York, eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Joan Davis of Hollidaysburg and Marie Caloline of Lakeland, Florida. She was preceded in death by a son Lawrence. Mrs. Schulman had worked with her husband in the family business, Schulman's Clothing Store, Tyrone for 20 years. She previously was employed at Epworth Manor, Tyrone. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita and did volunteer work for the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store, Tyrone and the Salvation Army. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph T. Orr, Celebrant. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
