DEATH OF A LITTLE GIRL.

  Alverda Schwartz was born April 22, 1894, and died of diphtheria at 
12.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, February 3, 1900, aged 5 years, 9 
months and 10 days.  The funeral which was private, took place 
yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the residence of her 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Boyer, 1510 Thirteenth street, with 
whom she had lived the whole term of her short life.  The interment was 
in Fairview cemetery.  During her little journey in the world she won 
the affection of her friends by her sprightly ways, and all who knew 
the child felt a sense of personal bereavement when they heard the 
announcement of her death.
