JOANNE SCORDO 

  Joanne Scordo, 61, of 114 N. Irvine Street, Warren, died on Tuesday 
May 23, 2006, at 12:55 p.m., at Warren General Hospital.
  Mrs. Scordo was born December 21, 1944, in Tyrone, the daughter of 
the late Scott and Martha (Lybolt) Sessamen. Mrs. Scordo had worked as 
a secretary for 25 years with the Warren County School District where 
she was head of the athletic statistics and in charge of school 
attendance; she was also employed as a receptionist at the Super 8 
Motel. She attended Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church, and was active 
with the Warren County Cursillo. She was a loving mother and 
grandmother, involved with her children in the Kinzua Kounty Kadettes, 
WAHS Marching Band, and the Warren Area Skate Park Boosters. She loved 
her cats including Buddy, and enjoyed listening to country and gospel 
music.
  She is survived by her husband, Antonio Scordo, Jr.; two daughters, 
Mrs. Kyle (Sunda) Burns, Tacoma, WA and Melissa (Missy) Scordo Zdarko, 
Warren; a son, Antonio Scordo III and his wife Holly, Salamanca, NY; a 
brother, Richard Sessamen, Tyrone; four grandsons, Corey Zdarko, Kyler 
Zdarko, Joseph Scordo, and Casey Ball; three granddaughters, Kyleigh 
Burns, Korissa Burns, and Ruth Scordo; and many nieces and nephews. 
  Friends may call at the Peterson - Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 
Penn Ave., E., Warren, on Friday June 2, 2006 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A 
private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family, 
with Monsignor John Lucas, pastor, Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Church 
and Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, 
co-officiating.
  God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be. So he wrapped 
his arms around you, and whispered, \"Come to me.\" You didn\'t deserve 
what you went through, so he gave you rest.
  God\'s garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best. And when I 
saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain, I could not wish you 
back to suffer that again.

  Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum of the Ascention.
