Mrs. Amanda, wife of John Scruders, died at the State Insane asylum at Warren, Pa., Saturday morning, where she had been taken July last for treatment. Her remains were brought to this place yesterday and taken to her late home on Bald Eagle avenue. She was aged 42 years and leaves to survive her husband and two children - Stella, aged 13 years, and Clyde, aged 9 years; also two sisters and two brothers, viz.: Mrs. J. W. Sunday, Rock Springs; Miss Lizzie Gummo, of Tyrone; James Gummo, of Punxsutawney, and William Gummo, of Snow Shoe Intersection. Funeral service and place of burial not yet given out.
