Miss Emma Sechler, a former teacher in the public schools in this city, died at Pottstown, Pa., on Monday evening. The deceased was a daughter of John and Catharine Sechler, of 210 Fifteenth street. The body was expected to arrive in this city on one of the early morning trains to-day. The funeral arrangements will be announced to-morrow. The deceased at one time taught school in the new Eighth ward building. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, October 22, 1890 The Funeral of Miss Emma Sechler. The body of the late Miss Emma Sechler is expected to arrive in this city from Pottstown on the 3.35 train this afternoon. It will be conveyed to the home of the parents of the deceased, No. 210 Fifteenth street, where at 7 o'clock this evening the funeral services will be held. On Pacific express on Friday morning the body will be taken to Ebensburg for interment. Miss Sechler was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Altoona, and all members of the Young Ladies' Social band are requested to attend the funeral services of the deceased this evening.
