SEEDS - Mrs. Mary Seeds, wife of James D. Seeds and a daughter of
Benjamin and Elizabeth Sprankle, both deceased, died at 3:30 o'clock
Saturday morning, at her home, 1313 Ninth street, of diseases incident
to age, she being past her eightieth year.  She was married to James
D. Seeds on Jan. 1, 1856, and lived near Spruce Creek, Huntingdon
county, all her life until the death of her husband, 25 years ago,
when she removed to Altoona, living here ever since.  She was a loving
and devoted mother and was a consistent member of the First
Presbyterian church.  She is survived by the following children: Hugh
D. and John S. Seeds, of Altoona, Emmet B., of Griggsville, Ill.,
Blair C., of Cresson, and Annie E., at home.  Funeral services will be
held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  The services will be public.
Private interment.
